Todays photo was taken on my walk home from work. Looking over this photo before posting it I realized what an abundant of talent this town has. When I think of back home and how if I were in the same situation there walking home from work it would be a completely different world. Back home when walking around town I don't remember seeing smiles on peoples faces. Not to say that where I came from isn't a wonderful place that I am proud to originate from. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it is just easier to be yourself here. Maybe it's just easier for me? There is a giant art community in Nashville/Franklin. It's crazy how many people I have come across in the past two years that moved here for something art related. Musicians, photographers, graphic designers just a bunch of creatives. I guess I found an area that challenges me. I believe I read somewhere that in every 10 miles there is at least 60 photographers...so I find it important to not stray from the projects I work on or to never stop pushing myself to learn at least one new thing a day. I can't give my surroundings the full credit but this little town has inspired me so much to move forward and to keep pushing forward every day!
I shot this on my Mamiya RB67 using FP3000B film. Depth of field still gets me giddy! Have a great night and I'll see you tomorrow!
