One of my favorites from yesterday. I always have trouble framing up the Presbyterian Church but I found this angle yesterday while taking a quick break to reload the camera. The picture also tells the viewer where we are with the Williamson County head stone. I find something new to shoot everyday.
Hope everyone is enjoying this sunny weather! See you tomorrow!

What's happening to Baskin Robbins??
This Downtown Franklin project has been such an awesome learning experience. I really enjoy talking to the people of this great little town and explaining to them about the book I'm working. Franklin is very excepting of the arts which makes it so much easier to get the photos I need. If I remember correctly I only had one couple and a random guy say no to letting me photograph them. Both of which would have been great subjects, bummer! You can't win them all.
That's that! Have a great night and I will see you tomorrow!!!

I'm sure you've all seen this on 5th avenue?!
I have another take away show scheduled to be released either tonight or tomorrow so keep a look out for that!!!
Happy Tuesday!!!

One of my favorite shots so far from this year.
Stay dry on this hazy Sunday!

Find Felix!
Caught these guys rocking Main Street yesterday on my daily travels! Had to shoot this wide open with a slow shutter speed hence the blur and it being out of focus.
I have a handful of awesome video and photo shoots coming up in the next week that I can't wait to share with everyone! I was also asked to share my photography on February 6th at the Presbytarian Church on Main Street in Downtown Franklin during the art crawl! Can't turn down an opportunity to feature my work in such a great location!
I hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend!

This was taken right before the sun went down yesterday on my Argoflex using Ilford Delta 400 speed film. I spent the evening developing a few rolls from the past week that I shot on three different formats my Holga, Argoflex and my Mamiya RB67. I just love the look of medium format black and white. I will be posting photos from those roll in the next couple of days!
Enjoy this weather my Franklin peoples!

Today's photo is of a couple guys working on Tazikis a new Greek restaurant coming to Downtown Franklin. Every time I'd land on this picture it would just take me to that day when I stopped and asked them if they'd mind if I'd grab a quick shot of them at work and all of them cleared out of the way and hid while this guy was left to fend for himself. Also the guy in the upper right hand corner thought he was safe from the shot! Got him!
Enjoy your day!!!

I did some exploring yesterday underneath the railroad tracks behind Pinkerton Park. I've been scouting out some different locations for a couple photo/video shoots I have coming up in the next few weeks. I came across this guy along with a ton of other awesome looking graffiti that I am either going to use for my next acoustic music series or I am also trying to put together a couple different looks for an editorial project I'm planning on starting in the next week or so.
I also picked up this book by photographer Todd Hildo.
I haven't finished reading through it yet but he does a really good job of explaining his process and how he went about picking locations and then describes the story behind each one. He's got a very appealing style and he has a great way of explaining everything.
I also just got this book in the mail from Amazon this week. It's Ansel Adams book on the print. I've gotten to the point with my photography that I am ready to start the print making process. I've only flipped through this one but this guy is an absolute legend in the photography world so I believe this is going to open a whole new world up for me!
Considering I'm at work right now I should probably wrap this up :) so have a great night and I will see you all tomorrow!

Niko is today's POTD! Of course he just happened to move slightly forward pulling him out of focus but I still love the look of this photo! We rescued him from the Franklin Humane Society coming up on a week ago. I've never met a cat like him before. Fearless. He had absolutely no problem fitting right in to our home!
I recently added a video section to the timothy.makeups website. Two of the videos are of the acoustic music series I've been working on along with a few other videos taken from Kimbro's song writers night. So if you haven't yet go click on the link and check that stuff out!
I'm still looking for musicians to book for my video series. So if that seems like something you would be interested in or if you know of someone that you think would be great for this please feel free to contact me! I have Wednesday and Thursday open this week so let's have some fun and make some art together!
Have a great night and I will see you tomorrow!!!

Happy Sunday night!
Better late than never! I hate posting past 5p.m. on a Saturday but work and life sometimes gets in the way! But today's photo is of a huge dump truck I came across the other day!
i've been working hard on booking some acts to add to my acoustic music series and I believe I have one set up for the middle of the week so stay tuned for that! I'm really hoping to turn this into something special!
Hope you have a fun and safe weekend! See you tomorrow!!!

The photo above is of Isaac Eustice taken yesterday during the filming of his acoustic performance on top of the 4th Avenue Parking Garage. Isaac is the second act I worked with on this live music series I've been trying to get started. We had a ton of fun putting this together for you guys! So make sure to click on the video link below!
Below are some of the images we captured throughout the filming of the Destroy Your Television take away show session.
Alright guys that wraps it up for todays POTD! I wanted to thank Isaac for his time yesterday and for allowing me to capture this moment that i get to share with everyone to see! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you stayed dry today! See you tomorrow!

I took this yesterday during one of my laps around downtown. It's always nice when I run into someone that actually is interested in my Downtown Franklin book project. This guy went as far as asking me how I would like him to pose and if he should keep his glasses on or off! You can't beat that when you're shoving a camera in a complete strangers face!
Early this afternoon I got together with my good friend Isaac Eustice and we recorded two songs for my live acoustic video series (that totally needs a name). He killed it! So I will be posting some behind the scenes stuff along with part one of the series tomorrow!
Have a great night and I will see you tomorrow!!!

Yesterday was this guys birthday!
Posted this photograph a couple of days ago on my Instagram! It kind of looks like she's doing a little dance move! Ha.
I'm hoping everyone has a great week and I will see you tomorrow!!

Night Stalker.
Happy Sunday everyone!
Tonight I had the pleasure of getting together with a couple of coworkers for a little photo shoot. The image above was shot on my Nikon digital camera using my two Yungnuo YN-560ii speed lights. I also shot one roll of Ilford Delta 400 on my Mamiya RB67 using a flash sync cable and my speed lights. I just finished developing that roll and the negative looks awesome! I can't wait to scan them in!
Have a great night and I will see you guys tomorrow!!
